Some nice fresh coffee notes to the red currant berry fruit with notes of leather saddle. This wine existed in the 4th Century and was supposedly drank by Ceasar? A nice fruit forward style with silky smooth tannins very fresh and maybe a bit short but has great typicity and a well balanced finish. I have not had many 2007's but this is a surprice for the vintage.
